Act I Curiosity

What I'm building.

I'm building the support system independent creative careers have always deserved— clearer contracts, practical guidance, trusted opportunities, and people in your corner. Designed with creative professionals, whatever your craft looks like.

The Shift

The 9 to 5 isn't the only way anymore.

Independent work is already especially common across creative careers. In 2023, independent contractors represented 28.1% of workers in arts, design, entertainment, sports, and media—and 19.7% of personal care and service workers.

Technology may change the tools, but photographers, hairstylists, makeup artists, stylists, and creative directors bring trust, taste, presence, and a human touch no machine can replace.

Act II Understanding

I watched someone brilliant go unprotected: no contracts, no framework for pricing, no one in her corner. Talent was never the problem. The support around her was.

Traditional employment often comes with built-in systems—payroll, benefits, workplace protections, and people responsible for keeping things running. Independent creative professionals usually have to assemble that support themselves.

Too often, that support system becomes five different apps, a spreadsheet, and a group chat—with nothing designed to show the whole picture.

for the assistant who showed me why this matters

01

Opportunity

Trusted work and referrals that grow through people—not dependence on a feed you don't control.

02

Protection

Clearer contracts, payment support, and practical guidance when things get complicated.

03

Growth

Stronger skills and better business decisions, supported by people who have walked the path.

Act III Belief

Technology may support it, but the foundation is community: creative professionals building stronger, more sustainable careers with people who understand the path. The more we learn from one another, the more useful the system becomes for everyone in it.

What success would look like

  1. Creative careers become more sustainable—not simply busier.

  2. Contracts protect the professional as well as the client.

  3. Less time disappears into administration.

  4. Independent creatives find opportunities through trusted relationships—not feeds they don't control.

this is what we are building toward, together.

Act IV Invitation

Help shape a community where independent creative careers are better supported, better protected, and built to last. Become one of the first voices guiding what comes next.
